Echoes of Aincrad ships with 52 unlocks on every platform — 40 bronze, 9 silver, 2 gold and the Nameless Hero platinum on PlayStation (the 100 percent equivalent on Steam and Xbox). Roughly a quarter of the list is hidden: the first-visit town trophies, all six partner recruits, the ending, and the Tezca Death Wielder kill. Nothing on the list is difficulty-gated, and nothing is permanently missable — the list is a coverage checklist, not a skill test.

Story, Towns & Exploration

Seven of these are secret trophies that pop the moment you first walk into a named town, so they cannot be missed on a normal route. Aincrad's Beacon and the two floor-map trophies are the only ones that ask for deliberate detours.

Partner Recruitment (all secret)

Every SAO cast member is a separate bronze. Several of them sit behind optional quest chains rather than the main story, which makes this the single most commonly missed cluster on a first clear.

Weapon & Armor Collection

"A variety" is a counter, not a full set — you do not need every item in the game. Loot and buy across all six weapon types plus Tops, Gloves, Bottoms and Shields instead of selling everything you do not equip.

Crafting, Smithy & Cosmetics

All four are one-off actions you can clear in a single Town of Beginnings visit once you own a Crafting Manual. Artisan's Pride is the only one that needs materials — take a cheap early weapon to its final upgrade tier rather than a legendary.

Database Completion

Nothing fills the Database passively. First-time kills log monsters, opening a chest logs its contents, and talking to an NPC logs their entry — so the trophies reward stopping to interact rather than sprinting past.

Combat & Bosses

Boss Killer is the long pole: 100 boss defeats needs Ark bosses, Warped Dungeon runs and repeat clears on top of the 34 main quests. Tezca Death Wielder is the true final threat and gates the second gold.

Sword Skill Mastery (6 silvers)

Six silvers, one per weapon type, each requiring every Sword Skill for that weapon to be learned. This is the biggest grind in the list because Sword Skills unlock through weapon proficiency, so you must actually play all six weapons.

The Four Real Time Sinks

Six weapon Sword Skill silvers

Learning every Sword Skill for Sword, Rapier, Dagger, Mace, Two-Handed Sword and Two-Handed Axe means levelling six separate proficiencies. Rotate weapons during trash clears and low-risk side quests, and keep your safe main equipped for boss fights.

Boss Killer — 100 bosses

Main story bosses alone do not reach 100. Fill the gap with Ark bosses summoned using Gold Crystals, Augite and Warped Dungeon bosses, and repeatable post-game encounters. Track the counter and farm the fastest fight you have unlocked.

Prismatic Powerhouse — all Key Stones

Key Stones only appear after the credits. They come from post-game high-level side quests and Warped Dungeon clears, and each one you feed in adds permanent stat buffs — so this grind also makes the Tezca fight far easier.

Proficient Player — Level 100

Level 100 is above what the main campaign gives you. Post-game dungeon loops and Ark boss repeats are the efficient route; power levelling in a good spot beats grinding low-level plains mobs.

Key Stones & the Post-Game Wall

Prismatic Powerhouse is the one silver that cannot be touched during a normal playthrough. Key Stones do not exist until the credits roll; afterwards they arrive from high-level post-game side quests and from Warped Dungeon clears, one per dungeon cleared. Each Key Stone is a meta-currency that grants permanent base-stat buffs, and higher-level clears power the existing set up further.

That makes the Key Stone grind double duty: it is the requirement for the silver and the intended preparation for Tezca Death Wielder, whose gold trophy sits behind the same post-game content. Clear post-game side quests first, feed every Key Stone in, then attempt the fight.

Safe Completion Order

  1. 1Clear side quests as they appear instead of banking them — Aincrad's Beacon, partner recruits and the two floor-map trophies all live in optional content.
  2. 2Recruit all six partners before the final story gate so the secret partner bronzes are not left to a second run.
  3. 3Interact with everything on your first pass: talk to NPCs, open every chest you see, and fight each new monster once so the Database fills itself.
  4. 4Stop selling equipment blindly — obtain-a-variety trophies count what you have acquired, but you still need the pieces for the Equipment Database entries.
  5. 5Rotate weapon types during ordinary combat from Floor 1, not after the credits, or the six Sword Skill silvers become a dedicated grind.
  6. 6Keep spare Col once you pass roughly 800,000 so Incorrigible Wealth pops instead of being spent away at the Smithy.

Completion Mistakes to Avoid

MistakeDo this instead
Saving all side quests for after the endingSeveral partner recruits and Aincrad's Beacon come from side quests during the campaign; finish them as they unlock.
Selling or dismantling every duplicate dropEquipment Database entries and the ten collection trophies both count acquired gear. Log it first, sell it second.
Sticking to one weapon the whole runSix silvers require every weapon type's Sword Skills. Swap during low-risk content from the first floor.
Rushing past NPCs and chestsCharacter, World and Item Database entries only register through interaction — Treasure Hunter needs world chests specifically.
Chasing Key Stones before the creditsKey Stones do not exist pre-ending. Do not waste time hunting them until post-game side quests unlock.
Assuming difficulty gates the listNo trophy requires Hard or Death Game Mode. Play the difficulty you enjoy — completion is about coverage, not challenge settings.
