| Component | Specification |
|---|---|
| OS | Windows 11 (64-bit) |
| CPU | Intel Core i7-10700K / AMD Ryzen 5 5600G |
| Memory | 8 GB RAM |

Lower-End Alternative (1080p / 30fps — Performance Mode)
| Component | Specification |
|---|---|
| CPU Low | Intel Core i5-8400 / AMD Ryzen 3 3300X |
| GPU Low | Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 (6GB) / AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 (8GB) / Intel Arc A750 (8GB) |
| Target | 1080p / 30fps (Performance mode) |
Minimum PC System Requirements
The minimum requirements target 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second using the Performance mode graphics setting. An SSD is mandatory — the game will not install or run properly on a traditional hard drive. Note that the requirements call for a DirectX 12 compatible GPU, so older cards without DX12 support (such as the GTX 900 series or earlier) will not be compatible.
Recommended PC System Requirements
The recommended requirements target 1080p at 60fps using the Balanced graphics mode. For those aiming to play at 1080p/60fps on the higher Quality mode, Bandai Namco recommends stepping up to an Intel Core i7-10700K or AMD Ryzen 5 5600G paired with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti (8GB) or AMD Radeon RX 6800 (16GB).
Lower-End Systems — 1080p/30fps Performance Mode
Bandai Namco has confirmed an alternative 1080p/30fps target for lower-end hardware. If you have an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 3 3300X paired with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 (6GB), AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 (8GB), or Intel Arc A750 (8GB), the Performance mode setting will target a stable 30 frames per second at 1080p. This is a welcome concession for players who do not meet the minimum RTX 2060 requirement but still want to experience the game at a playable framerate.
Performance tip: If you are running on the lower-end spec, start with Performance mode and adjust settings upward until you find a stable framerate. Dropping resolution scaling can also help maintain consistency.
Steam Deck & Handheld Compatibility
Echoes of Aincrad carries an Unsupported rating from Valve on Steam Deck as of July 2026. Community reports from the demo confirm that the game boots on SteamOS without Proton workarounds, but performance is compromised across all area types: indoor areas hover around 30 FPS, while open-world zones regularly dip into the low 20s with screen tearing. Given the minimum GPU requirement of an RTX 2060, the Steam Deck's integrated GPU falls significantly below the spec threshold. For a detailed breakdown with recommended settings, see our dedicated Steam Deck & Preload Guide.
Console Platforms & Storage
Echoes of Aincrad launches on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on July 9, 2026, with the PC (Steam) version following on July 10. On all platforms, an SSD is mandatory. The game requires approximately 30 GB of storage on Steam, or 30–35 GB on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. PS5 and Xbox preloads begin July 8, 2026 — one day before the console launch. Steam does not offer preloading, so PC players must download the full game on July 10. Note that there is no PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or last-gen console version planned.

Echoes of Aincrad launches July 9 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and July 10 on PC via Steam — SSD required on all platforms.
Streaming Guidelines & Restrictions
Bandai Namco has published official streaming guidelines for Echoes of Aincrad alongside the PC requirements. The main story content up to Chapter 4 is free to stream and monetize without restrictions. Content beyond Chapter 4 — including the ending and post-game story content — is prohibited from streaming, broadcasting, or sharing publicly. This restriction applies to all platforms (Twitch, YouTube, etc.). The publisher has stated that the streaming restrictions may be lifted at a later date, potentially coinciding with a post-launch period once the main story has been widely experienced.
Echoes of Aincrad on PS5 — Performance & Features
Echoes of Aincrad is a confirmed PlayStation 5 launch title (July 9, 2026). On PS5 the game targets 60 FPS in Performance mode with a higher-fidelity Balanced/Quality mode, fast SSD loads, and DualSense controller support (haptic feedback and adaptive triggers where enabled). An SSD is mandatory, so install to the console's internal SSD or a compatible expansion drive. PS5 preloads began July 8, 2026 — one day before launch. There is no PlayStation 4 version; PS5 is the primary Sony-platform way to play.
